with its main competitor the Tesla X model, which uses the Lithium-ion battery that has a range of under 300 miles per charge. The Fisker Emotion car was designed to basically compete with other electric cars out there that will cost an upward of $100K.

We have a cab company in town using Tesla cars. Supposedly they charge very similar to regular cabs, no idea how.
Perhaps, the Tesla owner is employed by Uber.

I happen to think that any car that costs more than about $75k is absurdly overpriced, but the marketplace clearly demonstrates that some others disagree. So if that's the pool that Fisker wants to swim in, then God bless him. Nevertheless, I won't get too excited about this project until production models are rolling off the line.
