you could order any engine you want in that car line? If you want a more powerful or more exotic engine in a car or truck you buy today, you have to upgrade the model of car or truck you buy.If you recall back in the mid 80s,Ford finally offered the high performance 5.0 liter in the LX that was reserved for the GT only.I guess it was a smart business wise but you know this 57 is rare because it's the plain Jane offered with the most exotic engine Chevy offered back then.

The car I drove through high school (dads work car/second family car) was a 56, 150 with the famous 235. You could whined it out tight in 1st, slam it into 2nd, pop the clutch & get a little peep.
I had a friend with a 64 Impala with a 235 that I raced at the "local" 1/4 mile, if you now what I mean. I think it was a tie.
That 235 probably saved my life, I could have fun, but only so much fun.
I hear you. More power = more fun.

No, learning to use the power you have is the fun.
That to.

I married the perfect woman. The downside is everything that goes wrong is my fault.
I always identify a 57 by its tail fins and I stopped watching the video before it got to a rear view. Sorry.
