It's old technology that weighs 4500 lbs and has no external boost such as a super charger or turbo charger, not to mention poor aerodynamics.Bottom line when it comes down to it,there is no replacement for displacement.

..."there is no replacement for displacement."Hmm, sounds like old school thinking to me with F1 engines putting out around 800 - 900 HP from a tiny 1.6-L displacement.
Yeah, I have to admit it was pretty funny watching that station wagon bobble up and down as it went straight down the drag strip. I wonder how it would do against the GTR through a hairpin, or even a very wide sweeper. ;-)

Well, except; forced induction, lighter weight materials (thus lighter cars), modern/better technology...
Yes, you can make a 4500# wagon go fast straight, but that GTR (don't get me wrong, I think they're ugly, but they are a crazy car) will likely also pull over a G on a pad, do a track in crazy times, have a much higher top speed than the wagon, and get much better gas mileage.
This is neat.
The second pass he nails it without wheel standing dangerously.

Hilarious, can I say cute? Either way, uh... "Smart". :)
