I did indeed "resign" but not quit. Resignation was immediate.
I've been having a good time so far, it won't last too long. Maybe a year or so :)
I don't want to get a dog and put the creature through isolation, I've seen videos of them going nuts when their masters are not there. The last thing I need is my silver Nordost speaker cable getting chewed on :)
Follow Ups:
My cockatiel has two support parakeets to keep him company when I am away.
The two parakeets have each other to play with, and make the cockateil feel
like he has company when I am not home.
The cockatiel is locked in the cage when I am away*, but the parakeets (who play nice 100% of the time) are loose.
*I am not able to 'trust' the cockatiel to behave when alone. He might really damage something I would have to punish him for doing. Or get into trouble and I would really be sad if he got hurt when I am gone.
The parakeets on the other hand, only play in certain places, Cages or window play area, and never do anything bad. (well, not bad enough I give a damn. LOL)
That is asking for trouble , the cockatiel seems to be a sort of caged dictator who commands from within the castle if I understand this setup correctly. Haha, I got much respect for birds, if you listen to the sound of earth from space all you hear is birds talking. I forgot where I read that but I understand it is the fact.
I just told you I have to resort to talking to a chatbot. How sad can this be? yes very sad.
thank you for keeping me company otherwise :)
