You don't have to buy ounces either, that is an example of smaller bars i have in this case 5 grams.

I have a ten ounce silver bar which I bought in the late '70s at about five-something dollars an ounce. Now, it's worth $18+/ounce, tax-free. 'Course, there's the pesky buy/sell spread and the sales commission and the tiny quantity, if I were to sell it. LOL It's sitting on my desk for the foreseeable future.

I have a few of these I got when silver was on sale a few months back...
On day two you'll trade it all for a pizza.

after day 0 I'll be bartering gold for food and ammo :)
I'll be bartering ammo for food and gold.

I have a feeling the ones with ammo will not be bartering.
That's right, coffee, Jack Daniels and ammo will get you all the worthless gold that you'd ever want.

... and don't forget, Ivory soap.
