The only reason Canadians like America is because it's a 1,500 mile buffer between Canada and Mexico.Has anyone else noticed that most of Canada is uninhabited? Is there a reason for that?

The first Canadian Grand Prix will be in Saskatoon on March 1, 2018. (Not sure who thought that was a good idea.)
If an adult person lives in Canada, it's because they love driving in snow.
It's easy to pick up hot chicks in Edmonton - and taking off the six layers of clothing is an added bonus.

Ok, that's all I've got.
I'll be here every night for the rest of the week, since my flight from

. . . if your favorite color is gray, then stop denying your Canadian heritage!
Q.: What will be the number one song on the Canadian charts in six months?
A.: Whatever song is number one on the US charts right now!
They had a whole issue devoted to Canada. ;-)

I would agree as Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Celine Dion...even Justin Bieber...etc..live in the U.S.
BTW, you can keep the Bieb, Celine Dion, and Capt. Kirk too, but we want Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, and Liona Boyd back.

I have many fond memories of days in Canada, since I grew up living so close. We would go to the Crystal Beach amusement park at least once a year, and Niagara Falls more often than that. Getting over the border was as simple as answering, "Where were you born?".
A woman from Montreal sent me the following short essay. She said she read it on Quora.com in reply to the question: "What is the most Canadian thing a person can do?". She thought I'd find it amusing, and I did, so I figured I'd share it here. I think whoever wrote it included at least most of the stereotypes.

A young man appears in the distance, wearing a flannel shirt.
He is riding a moose.
He has traveled far, but still has a long way to go before he reaches his destination.
In one hand, he holds a bottle of maple syrup. In the other, a hockey stick.
As he rides forth, his hockey stick accidentally brushes against a tree branch.
"Sorry!" he whispers to the tree.
"Sorry!" the tree replies.
Pretty soon, he comes to a river. As he tries to figure out a way to cross it, a young beaver trots over and taps him on the leg, motioning for him to follow. The beaver leads him to a dam, which our young hero can cross on.
He and his moose carefully cross the river, after thanking the beaver profusely.
Soon, he comes across a man ice fishing. After exchanging pleasantries (in French), the man gives him a Molson to quench his thirst. He drinks the beer and continues on his way.
He can see his destination now, just past the grove of maple trees.
He begins to hum O Canada as he crosses the street and parks his moose.
He has finally arrived at his glorious destination: Tim Horton's.
Please give my best regards to the owners of the diner in Sarnia where they gave my friend and I free burgers ('cause we were broke) as we hitch-hiked back to Green Bay, Wisconsin from Toronto.Edit: This would be an excellent time to play "Those Were The Days".

Been to Toronto one time in the 1980's. Thought it was a beautiful city but that was my only Canadian experience.
I got a ticket and was fined for speeding on some back road while I was there. I was a dumb kid at the time so when I got home, I mailed them a check against my US bank account not taking exchange rates into account. No one complained, and there are no warrants out for my arrest in Canada. It's all good. ;-)
and I love curling and hockey and NBA and MLB and NFL...

I'm going to send this to my son's fire station (he's a fireman and recently made Lieutenant). They will like it.
Except for curling. :)
