I have a NEX-7 which is OK, but for me has a few flaws, like poor autofocus speed in lower light.
I HATE my 18-200 lens which is the SEL18200. Soft at the edges at ALL focal lengths, which just gets worse till by 200mm it is nearly unusable. F6.3? Try ISO3200 or ISO6400 to get a nice mid-aperture shot at a reasonable hand-holdable shutter speed. The vignetting is like looking thru a tube.
And what's WITH that Hot Shoe? I bought the adaptor to use with my Alien Bees.
Battery Consumption is off the charts. If I was crazy enough to try doing a wedding with this camera, I'd bring 5 or 6 batteries and a double charger.
Sony's RAW converter program is OK, I guess.
And the lens I actually like? The 35mm 1.8 is good. But at 3x or 4x the price of the Canon Plastic Fantastic? give me a break. (Canon 50mm f1.8 is wonderful and CHEAP) When I looked for another prime, I settled on teh 90mm f2.8 Macro. Unfortunately it is priced even ABOVE the Canon 'L' series lens in the same focal length and category.
Nope, SONY has again lost my interest. Now? About that Alpha 6500?

Funny, that's almost the same things a guy at work said about his Canon equipment. Guess one can get too used to and tired of, just about anything.
Even, the best of women?

I think the gadget guys have taken over. Photography is secondary to the 'gear'.
All the stuff I post on Deviant Art is single exposure, though treated with photoshop.
The other problem is what I call 'The Churn' where new models come out and the main product of the camera company is the Next Big Thing.
