It could work, would you have to wire to the Pew or similar sitting position? Wires hanging from the ceiling or something neat?I asked an expert friend of mine, don't think you want something like Dulce.
Honestly if you don't feel up to it don't pressure yourself. It can get crazy with costs.
Not sure how much money the church is giving you to spend.

It's a finished interior, so it would have to be a neat installation. The link below should give some idea as to how the system works. It's essentially an antenna that surrounds the room perimeter, and interacts with a transmission coil in certain hearing aids to allow the signal to be heard without using a headset. A headset can in fact be used for those who don't yet wear hearing aids yet have difficulty hearing, but the gain in these headsets is inadequate for those with severe hearing impairment.

Ok, I am sorry. I only am familiar with wires, this is new technology I know nothing about.
Good luck and god bless you.
I will send my friend who knows about this a link to your post, he said he was interested. Even for learning purposes, will chime in if I know more after he looks into it.
Your doing the great work. Good luck however if I don't have any answers.
I can use all the help I can get. I'm kind of technically oriented, but this is all new territory for me, so anything helps.
Very unfortunate situation you have found yourself in.
I'll see what info I can find. Is saying "no" an option? I got tired of Church myself, I grew up Lutheran. Regardless, good to see some people trying to help others who are less fortunate.
That is quite the task you have there. All the best of luck.
It's not unfortunate at all. Saying no is not an option, but that's simply because it isn't my choice to do so. My wife and I only recently joined this group, and she happens to be one of the people with severe hearing impairment. I could easily implement a solution that would serve only her needs, but I don't want to go that route. Far better to work something out that serves everyone.
I'll figure it out. One way or another, I'll make it work.
ok, best of luck moving forward.
I see your in MN. I'm on the East Coast and don't have the patience for any place of worship anymore, everything is co-opted with ulterior motives.
I'm not even sure this thread will stay up because it has to do with religion.
Nah. It isn't about religion at all. It's about assistive hearing technology, or has been up to this point.
FWIW, I have little tolerance for some of the same things that appear to set you off. "Robert A. Monroe". A search at Amazon is your friend.
I use equi-sync occasionally.
I made it a point to use it during downtime, I scared myself because of how awesome I became. I had to stop.
thanks for the info. Take care.
