Congrats and best wishes to both your brother and his better half for bucking the trend to stay together for the last 25 years. Here's hoping for another 25 years.....
Anyhow, are you heading to favorite watering hole for some scotch to celebrate today's event eh?...

but I'll be playing golf with him on Sunday, so we'll do it then.
By the way, I hate whisky, except for the sweet liquer ones like Glayva or Drambuie. I grew up in the town where Ballantines was made, and the smell put me off I think.

I deliberately ignore the nonsense of the honours system. The royal equivalent of a patronising pat on the head.
One of the reasons I was going to vote "Yes" to independance, is the opportunity to become a Republic. It's a shame, but the Scottish National Party (SNP) who currently govern us have stated they intend to retain the royal family. It has no place in a modern society IMHO.
I'm a Crown Royal's guy myself. Although, I indulge in some libation with Drambuie, but I much preferred the smooth taste of Kaluah straight up without chaser especially when listening to Karen's "We've only just begun" song...
Enjoy your golf, btw, if you drink, don't drive, don't even putt....
