hello Kevin ,
I am planning to use LL1660 /18 ma in SE ---> PP configuration with russian 6N6P / ECC99 / E182CC as driver . I want to use fixed (active ) bias and I have to connect neg bias voltage to the common earth of the secondairy of the 1660 . However I want to bias each connected 6B4 tube separate , do you know if it is possible to connect the sec of 1660 so that I can bias each 6B4 separate ( so split the earth so to say ) ?
Thanks in advance
Jeremy

hello Kevin ,
thanks for your reply.
In this way a get a common neg bias for both tubes , I want an individual neg bias for each of the 2 6b4 output tubes . so how to connect the sec of the 1660 to get 2 neg bias supplies (one for each 6B4 ) thankes Jeremy
You can do just as you describe. I've done it and it works well.

LL 1660 SE to PP : In secondary p5 and p10 normally connect to ( common) ground (schematic Alt V new )
Neg. bias supply has to come via lifted ground connection of transformer secondary .
Proposal for splitting ground connection in secondary ( so you can use separate bias supply for each connected output tube):
Lifted ground input Neg bias 1 to (5-2) to ( 8-9) to grid 1
Lifted ground Input neg bias 2 to (10-7) to (3-4) to grid 2
(---) = internal connection transformer winding , to = external connection
Pleas can you inform me if this will work ?
Thanks Jeremy
