Return to K&K Audio / Lundahl Transformers
24.14.32.233
Hello Kevin!
I'd like to know if a No.33 tube could be transformer-coupled as a driver for a two-stage 2A3?
Rp is 50K, but load resistance is 6K...
the 2.0 volt - .26A filament should not be too difficult, maybe even AC?
if possible, could you please recommend a LL to suit?
Thanks for your time, JL.
Follow Ups:
With a plate impedance of 50K, there will be substantial low and high frequency roll-off in the audio band with any Lundahl output I could suggest. If you can live with that, then the LL1660 is the highest impedance transformer Lundahl makes suitable for interstage use. If you connected the 33 as a triode, you might have a fighting chance...
