I wholeheartedly agree with GEO. Regardless of her evolving and varied stylings and compositions, Aldana is amongst the best tenor players out there today. If a musician doesn't change things up over time, what's the point? She is really fun to watch live. I have had the good fortune to hear her at least 5 times.
Glover is pretty good too.

I bought the last Aldana, Nicole Glover, Ron Blake Mistaken Identity and JD Allen Americana 2 and
Listened to them repeatedly during a long drive to Virginia. They were all great. Different styles but each play at a high level. JD Allen is masterful.
Agreed. I wouldn't chase any of them from my front yard for playing Misty for me. Agree on JD Allen's mastery of his instrument. Ron Blake's playing on the brand new Steve Turre album is fabulous. An of course, the women are on top of their games.
