Hello audiophile jazz lovers! We're The Jazz Groove - a new non-commercial, listener-supported jazz radio service. We just launched new HD FLAC streams showcasing our library of 10,000+ jazz radio recordings - hand-selected, artfully curated, and custom blended. Our specialty is Laid-Back Jazz (Miles, Charlie Parker, Oscar Peterson, Wyton, Turrentine, etc) but we have five unique jazz channels. We'll launch a free trial for our Premium service this week but anyone can listen for free. The fidelity is incomparable. Check it out if you have a moment - feedback welcome & appreciated!

I'm letting this stand, but I notified JazzGroove that ads/promotions are not allowed on AA. This particular post is kinda on the edge because (other than the "premium" I guess) its listener supported and ya don't HAVE to pay, which is basically why I'm not deleting it.....this time. Let's be cool about this stuff though. I'm not fond of deleting posts but can't be doing much stretching of AA rules.
I have been a contributor to JazzGrove for over a year, and have turned on other inmates to it in the past. The fidelity is superior to most of the other streaming out there.
I give them 10 bucks a month for the regular stream, sometimes when they have a fund drive, I give what I can.
Its not much to ask for excellent music all the time.
I recently bought a Marantz streamer and found that the Heos app includes Tuning radio, which has The JazzGrove on there for free of charge also, you don't have to contribute, just sign up and you can keep listening.
I didn't know about the new HD service, and I really didn't think they needed it. I will be checking it out anyway.
I hope this post doesn't count as a promotion, just an endorsement.
Nothing wrong w/ promotion.
I'm not so sure if, as you say, "ya don't have to pay". --I checked it out last night, after reading here, and was able to listen for just over an hour, until a recorded female voice came on saying my 90 minutes was up for free listening, though, again, it was just an hour. The site shows different pay tiers, for monthly, and longer deals, with $100 as a one time pay option. Whether that "one time" means forever, or has to be updated yearly, at another $100, it doesn't really say. --Has anybody here signed up with them?

I just went to the site, and hit "play" on the left side of the screen, --not the "get Premium" option. It's essentially a teaser, to get the listener to buy one of the premium options that cost. That's how I see it. I could be missing something. Just try it yourself. Do it. It's free to try, -at least the first hour teaser. See what you think. The sonic quality is excellent. I will say that.
Thank You! Jazz Groove.

Thank you for the heads up!
