I saw Cyrille a bit over a year ago with Trio 3, which included two other youngsters: Reggie Workman and Oliver Lake. Schepp and Pharoah Sanders each played DC within the past 2 years. Ron Carter is still recording. I saw Benny Golson in Vienna AU on his 90th birthday tour in May of '19. He and Rollins are the only surviving subjects from Art Kane's Great Day in Harlem photograph. George Cables recovered from serious health problems and was playing before the big shutdown.OTOH, I hear Roy Haynes isn't doing well, and not playing. And of course we lost Chick Corea and Milford Graves last week, two of too many the past year. Very few seem to retire before exiting stage left.

He is still very active. Has been streaming during the pandemic. Just love him.
Yes, very much so. And, an under appreciated talent at the keys. His solo at Maybeck effort on Concord is one of my favorites of the 40-plus albums in that series. Over the Rainbow is over the top beautiful.
