What's really scary about this is that it's owned by a sizable company that also owns things like Shake Shack, Union Square Cafe, et al, so what can the implications be for other smaller venues?
Privately owned venues mostly don't have the resources of large corporate entities. Mostly they are labors of love so they are indeed in the shit. On the other hand, as labors of love they don't have the imperative to promise ever growing profits to its shareholders and ever growing salaries to its upper level executives. If they were in it for the money, they would be doing something else; a small ray of hope but it is something.
