Once you've heard Monk play any tune once, you might as well burn the rest of them up. 95% of the guy's career was a complete sham.

Follow Ups:
You've dismissed his work as a "complete sham". One has to wonder how you arrived at that conclusion. The notion that Monk was faking it is, to put it mildly, ridiculous.

My mistake. Sorry.
It happens.

Maybe I need to issue warnings when I go into that mode. :-D

it's an acquired taste I suppose
are there any links to your compositions to explore?
be well,
Hi, and thanks for asking (I'm assuming your question was serious.) My wife (presently a student and aspiring programmer) is helping me put together a personal website. I am hoping to put some of my old recordings up there, or possibly on Bandcamp. Need to do some mastering work, which could take some time. If you're really interested, let me know and we can find a way to get some recordings to you. A few folks here have copies but it's been a while since I've shared them with anyone. It would be nice to spread it around some again.
