Are these production units, or are they still at the prototypes stage?Do you have any distribution / pricing info available, or is that still TBA?
Will the 704-8A be available as a raw driver?

I would like to respond to some of the posts entered. In terms of what is available and what is still in the prototype stage. The 704 is available at this time, not only in our Stonehenge systems but also as a raw driver. As noted already, it is does have the updates described. In terms of some of the comments made that Iconic drivers being merely Altec drivers with new decals- Some of the vintage designs are available, and a cross-reference would show them as being a direct replacement or match to prior components produced by the now defunct company mentioned. We will not apologize for being able to offer these products to those who desire them. Those drivers are available for production at this time. If you need a replacement we can help identify which of our drivers can meet your needs. We are also able to offer several of those basic designs with improvements such as rear-venting, high temperature voice coils, higher power-handling capacity without loss in sound quality, etc. We also have a newly designed low frequency woofer that we feel people are really going to like. Unfortunately (or fortunately in some people's view) we are a very small company with relatively limited resources and infrastructure. We all have other jobs or careers as well as families. Because of this as well as some litigation hurdles we have had to endure much of our products have not been able to be made available as quickly as we would have liked. Case in point has been upgraded crossovers for vintage systems and drivers such as the model 19, 604e and 604g and 604k's. We have completed prototypes but except for the e and k have not been thoroughly tested to our satisfaction. The flip side to being small and having a small infrastructure is we are able to offer extremely competitive prices considering the level of quality of the products. We are very close to having all of the crossovers mentioned ready for production. At this time they are only available in complete systems. In the future we also plan on making improvements in horns for those models mentioned. We really appreciate the overwhelming verbal support as well as patience shown to us in what at times has been difficult circumstances for us. We look forward to being able to serve audio lovers.
