Hi Victor,Used hifi online shops in Japan (http://www.hifido.co.jp/indexe.html - they sell abroad) have 'em from time to time. You may wanna contact them so they can put you on their "list" of wanteds. How do they compare to the TAD drivers you used before? Do you like them better than TAD?

Hi Derick,
Thanks alot for the info! I have the Tad 4001, 4002, 2001's. Out of the 3 the 4001 is the best but here's the big BUT! There's only a handful of 4001 that's good. I've gotten 2 or 3 pairs that were no good. I believe the old ones circa 80's or older (if they build it before the 80's) were the good ones. The new ones that I've gotten sounded cold and less musical. The older ones were sweeter.
The thing that got me confused is that there suppose to be the same. Arhhg! Anyhow, that's the case with the Tad 4001.
In comparison with the Coral m-100, I'd tell you after I get some more units :)
Let's just say I like them alot but my taste is different also than others. I like the sound of bigger horns. I like to crossover lower also when used with bigger horns. It's all preference. Each one has there own.
I've only listened to the Coral with 230hz horns and the 360hz horns and 2 of Dr.Edgar's Salad bowls(350hz and 500hz). They all sounded sweet regardless of which horn. I haven't tried it with my big ones because I'm living temporarily in a condo somewhere out there and I don't have space yet.
The Coral H-104 tweets is just plain, the best I've heard. Puts to shame all my Jbls, Tads, etc. Maybe it could be close to the Ale stuff. I don't know. But it's good stuff.
What differance between H-104 and H-100 ?
I just know moving coil is the same ,but what about performance.
Is it still possible to find complete exchange diaphragm somewhere in this world ?On ebay and yahoo japan it is not frequent!
Regards,
Marc

---Hmmm... Seems like you've been magically entranced by these out of production drivers =) Don't worry, I'm not hunting around for them. I have a pair of 60's vintage 16ohm 8" Coral coaxials (aluminum vertical diffraction horn tweeter) that put some new/modern so-called 'compact high efficiency commercial hi-end speakers' to shame. These babies are perfect for small rooms. Please post your findings in whatever horn you'll end up with (Leach math, Edgar Salad Bowl, etc.) Close to ALE (or maybe GOTO?) suff is good indeed... The only problem with having such a revealing tweeter is that your front end sources must be also be top-notch (ie, super-refined)
Good luck with the hunt.
I have some brand new 8" and 10"'s If anyone is interested.
