For an extra challenge, how about trying to do it in such a way that, except for perhaps shunt elements, the only or at least primary resistive element within the crossover/driver network is the driver's? There's reason to believe that a crossover done this way emulates some of the sonic advantages claimed for active crossovers, probably due to the tighter control the amplifier would have over the driver.

This is something I try to accomplish when I design my crossovers.
