Hey Jeffrey,Let me state it as clearly as I can. If the Avantgarde loudspeakers you heard sounded mechanical and unnatural in any way, they were incorrectly set up or matched to inappropriate components. Period.
I'm sure you heard what you heard but I'm afraid you are attributing its cause incorrectly.
