Mark,My pleasure. I forgot to mention one more advantage of a horn-loaded dome tweeter, perhaps the most important advantage--less stored energy. If you've ever measured a compression driver, you know that the impulse response takes a while to settle down. The result is a pretty raged frequency response. The dome tweeters I have measured so far have had far less stored energy and a much smoother frequency response. However, because they are designed to have a flat frequency response when unloaded, they need lots of eq when they are used in a horn. The nice rising response of the Audax tweeter should result in a lot less eq.
