Great Plains Audio, The Altec Lansing specialists are now advertising that they are servicing JBL products. I would give them a call.https://greatplainsaudio.com/

Unfortunately, the original replacement cones are no longer available. The below linked cone supplier seems to be the only ones I have found that provides details about how the approached reproducing the cones as close as possible to the originals. I assume you are re-coning for sound reproduction, rather than sound production as is in a guitar amplifier. I think I would focus on getting a re-cone that is as close as original. Guitar players generally choose their amplifier speakers for a specific sound. The hemp cones may or may not be the best direction for a D130 vs the D130F which was slightly different to handle the abuse guitar amplification puts a speaker through. Before I bought cones from either of these suppliers I would call and pick there brains as to how there cones compare to originals, and if they have actually measured the T/S parameters on their re-cones, and if they can provide that info. You might also post you question at the Lansing Heritage forum site. I have in the past done some research on this subject there, but did not really find any definitive recommendations based on actual measurements of the re-coned speaker. There maybe something new there sense I looked. Good luck! Interested in hearing what you decide to do.

I spoke to the hemp guy...and he said the hemp speakers
Are for guitar players ..he did not have an opinion on
Its usage within hifi realm. So I will not go in that direction
I'm guessing there are good and bad hemp cones, the same as anything. This is an excited review of a hemp 12"

Mnawaz3, A Brown Soun can also re-cone your D-130s with "conventional" paper cones. They've no doubt re-coned quite a few for professionals world-wide. ... Late owner Harrison said a few customers loved hemp-reconed V30s in their multi-kilobuck stereo systems, & produced the best mid-range they'd ever heard from them. V30s don't like Carver Magnetic Field amplification, however, but have no problem with hemped MC-90s. Still utilize conventionally re-coned Utah Cadences by Neal's Speakers, dating back to '89, which are still rocking' strong. Neal's moved up to Colfax recently. SoCal's Jammin Jerseys is another good source for quality re-cone service. Got an Electro Voice Force 12 from them a decade ago, & a second generation Celestion G12K-85 last year which was cheaper than current G12K-100. Both were re-coned before shipping, & were solidly packed. ... 73s para Sactown
I can speak for Millersound, they did good by my AR9s
Is the top plate silver or gold toned?
Gold toned top plates need to be replaced at JBL before they can be re-coned.
Mnawaz3, since you're gonna re-cone, why not spend the extra scratch & have San Rafael's A Brown Soun hemp-recone your D-130s. Gear Page's 71strat praises their rejuvenation of his D-130Fs. Surmises they sound as close to original as possible. ... Have utilized hemp-re-coned Celestion V30s-n-Mesa MC-90s for over a decade in both hi-fi-n-instrumental duty. Late, great owner John Harrison treated a retired printer like rock royalty. Will take about a month of constant use for your D-130s to break-in. Then they'll continue to sound even more bitchin'! BTW, hemp cones demand quality amplification! Might explain their inclusion inside higher-end speakers recently. ... 73s para Sactown
