debatable - those are in great shape for 1960's particleboard K15 other than water damage on one. 605 have somewhat higher qts than 604. For $99 at Loudspeakersplus, you can pick up a brand new P-Audio 15" coax ( - regularly $269 some years back)including a BMD440 compression driver. The P-audio likely won't sound as good as a 604 - but not too shabby. Les Hudson used that P-Audio in his K15 some years ago. (dunno what crossover - there's a chance he ran them like David Dicks would using just a capacitor highpass ????)I bet Triticum Audio could build some nice new K15 for reasonable money - might cost a bit to ship from Washington state,

Hey Freddyi,
Do you have contact info for Triticum Audio? Can't find 'em...
tia,
David
I am tempted to make that twelve... even though I have NO EARTHLY REASON to buy another pair of 15" coaxes.
How could one go wrong for a big, sensitive coax (including the HF driver) for a hunnert smackers?
all the best,
mrh
Couldn't resist...like you said, a 15" coax for barely a Benjamin?
I've been wanting to build some Karlson's for some time, and this might be about time.
