I've owned both the Olson bins (Shearer) and the Ubangi. The multicell was probably on the Olson bin, the Ubangi usually had radial horns.
The plans I have seen on the web have not been correct.
Bruce Edgar used to have a pair of Olson bins, he might have drawn up plans.
Michael Christ has plans for the Ubangi, incuding a pattern for the horn ribs with the correct curvature.

this is the horn I will use.
Mine was a similar tar-filled 18-cell with dual drivers used with two Olson bins.
The Ubangi had a 90° and a 60° radial with dual drivers on a 'Y' into another 'Y' to the horns. A tweeter was added.
Thanks for the pic.
Probably will build a shearer for it. If I can get the plans. Thanks for your post and help.
Is the Shearer the old double-ended "W" bin that used 2-15"?
If so, there is a drawing with internal dimensions in Audio Cyclopedia by Howard Tremaine.
I could send you a scan of the page if that would help.
Its a W bin seen set up for 1 or 2- 15in. A scan might help I have plans for W-Bins just want to get as close to original as possible.

Thank you. I have W-Bin plans similar to this. This ones close to the shearer only difference I note at this time is angle around driver. Wish I could get the outside dimensions from one, with the info I have I can come real close to original shearer- Olson bin.
These are what I am familiar with. We used to carry these monsters around as part of a rock and roll PA. That is two of them stacked. It looks like it may be the same horn design as the Shearer horns, just rotated 90 degrees.
Cool pic. I use a 300b on my altecs rcas jbl ev fostex horns ;) try one.
