Today's dumb question:
I've been experimenting with a pair of BMS 4590 coaxial compression drivers and a variety of horns, but I'm not sure I'm hooking them up properly.
There's one set of binding posts closer to the back of the driver and one set closer to the front of the driver. So, just to clarify: which pair is for the MF and which for the HF?
Thanks!
Joel.
Follow Ups:
The pair on the back, or farthest away from the exit throat, are for the HF driver.
D Mike,
Many thanks for confirming that!
Regards,
Joel.
Just try each terminal, using a 10 to 20 mf cap at low volume,
or at least the bass control turned sown. The term. with more
midrange (and I'd guess louder) is the mid terminal.
But, someone else probably know the answer.
