Hi Quad,
Mixing a fixed pattern front dispersion tweeter horn with a dipolar bidirectional dispersion midbass always sounds bad when I listen at professional or DIY events. I think you will quickly find this to be a strange marriage that will end in divorce.
HORNS are designed to generate only forward, controlled pattern dispersion and minimize room interaction. Your ears are the microphones.
DIPOLES are designed to use room diffusion effects to enhance the recording.
I do not know of a "Class A" rated speaker with this configuration.
Dipole planars like the BG3 or HEIL are becomming the requested tweeter for full dipole speakers.
Look into AE and read their Forum on Open Baffles !!!

Since you are using it as a midwoofer, I think there are better choices. Its sensitivity, at 93db 1w/1m is fairly low. Look at the Eminence Delta 10 at 98db 1w/1m, or the Delta 12 at 98db 1w/1m. Or if you prefer a cast frame, the Delta Pro 12A at 99db 1w/1m. These are just a few of a boatload available, and probably less expensive as the GP driver. They are all available from PE, as well as other dealers.
