Thanks for your reply, Endust. How had all the Danleys you’ve listed performed at low volume levels in your room? Did you loose anything at lower levels.
I’ve read someplace that in general pro-audio drivers are made to sound best at high SPLs, although have no idea if this is a true statement. Could you comment on Danley in that regard... Thanks

I have family, neighbours, so need to use with standard volume too :)
I liked the SM60/TH Mini and the SH100B quiet. Others were loosing minor body of the instruments, which is not very surprising to be honest.
Which cables did you use with Danley’s and Yamamoto and Leben amps? DSL’s use Speakon connectors and those amps use banana or spades. Is there a ready-to-use product available? I will probably need something similar as I was thinking of a simple setup using EL34 amp (from the likes of Quicksilver or moded Dyna) and SM69F or SM96 without a sub. Should probably be ok for 16sqm room.
