Currently it's being used from 200 to 7kHz, in a small sealed stuffed box with a ribbon tweeter. Is there a way to get better midbass and midrange quality from this driver?
Any plans, suggestions?
Thanks,
Herman

Only thing that I heard than can make a fe206e sound ok
yep!
The BDS point is about 200 hz as well which gives -3db dip shelving to -6db. And, lead a 'reverse trumpet' out the back with progressively tighter stuffing into a sealed back-end. Sleeve lengths of PVC pipe from 100mm, 90mm, 75mm - 60mm i.d. for the last 2/3rds.
OR
A small OB with shallow sides - dimensioned to die at 200 hz - natural 1st order , -6db/octave
Next would be a folded labrynth with a length* of about 40cms - *depends on the stuffing! It should HP itself at 6db/octave possibly 12 db/octave below 200.

Tim,
Where do I get such spheres?
or
How do I figure out the dimentions of the OB? Any shape I should stick to? Thickness of baffle?
Thanks
Try searching here and elsewhere for basszilla. Dick used the 206 as the top of a two way, and then the middle of a three way , using OB for the Fostex. there are many thoughts on dimensions and xover to be found.
