Norbert,Where do you set the HF control?
Follow Ups:
I have to explain about the Markwart crossover. This crossover doesn't have a HF-control. It has a MF-equalizer keeping high frequencies almost constant. If you refer to the schematic (http://home.earthlink.net/~jmarkwart/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/604-8h_gsmpl.pdf) I replaced the combination of R4 + P1 with a switch selecting a resistor instead. I am using a switch with 10 positions: 2.2, 2.7, 3.3, 3.9, 4.7, 6.8, 10, 15, 27 and 56 ohms. Measuring the frequency response in my listening room I settled on 6.8 ohms.
High frequencies are only attenuated slighly by resistor R3 which is 2.7 ohms in my implementation. I have to check my measurement protocols how much mid-band attenuation is achieved with this setup.
Hope this helps
Norbert
