They've been telling the A/V press that a 205 will come out early 2017.

205 yet to come.
It is frustrating that there has been nothing from either company and Darbee is late to get their 4k products out the door. I'm sure you are under and NDA and can't discuss it, but could Oppo at least address it? Yes, that could cannibalize some early sales, but how many people will, be angree that they didnt just tell us they were adding it in another model next year? I know I would be unhappy if I bought now. I rely on my 103D to provide Darbee to all my sources through HDMI in.
Sorry. Although I am not under NDA, I know nothing more than has so far been revealed and generally pay little attention to video matters.
So Kal, an audio question. Will the new Oppos be able to offer us really good gapless playback? My 105D is a fine machine but it cannot provide really clean gapless playback such as I need for opera especially but also for plenty of other classical works. This alone has stopped me joining the downloading fraternity. I am told by Oppo UK that the chipset cannot be programmed to do this but that the new machines might just be using a more modern chipset. Thoughts? (Assuming I'm not the sole user of my system for multichannel classical music as well as all the other stuff).
Like others on this thread, the lack of streaming apps in the 20x series is sad (Berlin Digital Concert Hall especially) but those are available from other sources if need be.

I do not know because I do not have a 203. I am waiting for the 205.
I have read comments on other forums that say that the 205 will not do gapless but that is hearsay and I do not know the conditions under which it was assessed.

I guess time will tell.
