Daybreaks- corrected.

Seems to be in a similar vein to Patricia Barber , obviously I am not into this type of music, giving the CD to my local Charity Shop.
Similar to Barber? Really? We live on two different planets.
how do they differ- Isaak ?
You yankin' my chain?
Somehow I don't see Patricia Barber recording and performing with Keith Richards, Willie Nelson, her sister Anoushka, and Ryan Adams.
Norah Jones never, ever intended to be Audiophile fodder. The very thought makes her laugh.
Laughing...
I see. I thought it was "are you pulling my Lariat?"
Ha..gotcha.
BTW, addressing to all. No disrespect to patricia barber in any way. A serious artist with a solid recorded history.
NJ & PB I do not like either so that puts them on the same Planet.

its okay- vocal Jazz is an acquired taste for certain. I listen to very little of it in comparison to Bop/Hard Bop/ Modal jazz and the Avante Garde.
What do you call the genre far better vocalists sing e.g. Streisand & a few others

Female Pop Vocalist & Female Jazz artist/vocalist.
Wow. That is too bad. I have some Patricia Barber and find her quite a bit different. At least to me. Not a big fan of P Barber. But I do like Norah Jones. Go figure. I'll have to listen to P Barber a bit more as I have not listened much. She isn't someone I listened to and liked immediately. But I am willing to give it another go. I have had artists grow on me.
