I ask because I run a P-10, and I'd hate to have it funkying up my connected gear (absolutely no problems IME, but only 3 months in).
Follow Ups:
The folks at MOON say none of their products should be hooked up to PS Audio regenerators until further notice. It's some engineering voodoo. They're supposedly working with Boulder to fix the Gremlins. My systems (non-MOON equipment) have never had any problems with the P-5 or the P-3. Unless your dealer/vendor says otherwise, I think you're OK. It's strictly a MOON product issue as far as I know. BTW, my dealer says the factory is building me a replacement piece. Hopefully all will be well!
Thanks for the background. There blanket concern about the regenerators is interesting. I was wondering if it was a particular Multiwave setting or some such.
I hope the replacement unit gets you back to a happy place!
I got the replacement MOON a week + ago and have been running it off a AudioQuest Niagara 1000 with nary a problem. The dealer finally sent me a UPS call tag and the problem one was received by him today. He may get back to me with an explanation on the failure. I'm not holding my breath on that though!
Whenever the new MOON shows up (and lives) I'll let know. I'm assured by the dealer that the PSA Dectet I have will work in the interim. Of course, he wants to sell me an Audioquest 1000 to go with the replacement HPA. I may go that route. Underwood Wally is very excited about the Equi=Core line. I still haven't decided. My local small town power is not as nasty as a large metropolitan area, but it still needs help!
