All of the suggestions here are for in-ear-monitors (IEMs), which get jammed tight in the ear canal. Not that there's anything wrong with that :) but earbuds stay in the outer portion of the ear opening and don't seal very well. The Apple earpods/earbuds are typical of true earbuds.
I have narrow ear canals, and I couldn't find any IEMs that fit comfortably. Earbuds (I bought Yuin PK2 to replace the ones that came with my iPhone)) do fit me comfortably, although they lack the noise isolation and strong bass that IEMs provide.
JVC HA-FX101 is a great pair for bass they cost just $18. Strongest bass you could find at this price range. Good luck mate :)
Koss is nice. I've had the same $15 earbuds for 3 years and they still sound the same. it has noise cancelation and deep bass. Or select from the $50 range reviews at Headphones Unboxed or Head-Fi websites.

SoundMagic offers some of the best quality earbuds that really sounds great. SoundMaximum has a huge list of best earbuds under $50 you can buy. Although BrainWavz M2 is the favorite one among the masses, I personally feel SoundMAGIC E10s beats it out of the water.
Again it depends on personal choices.
If you are a bass lover, then go for M2.
These days you can find many cheap earbuds under the price range of $30.
Some of my best suggested earbuds happen to be:
1. Soundmagic ES18
2. JVC Marshmallow
3. Symphonized NRG (Bass Heavy Earbuds)
or even Sennheiser CX200 as well.
Are you looking for best earbuds under $30 bucks? And I think $30 product is a safer choice while buying best and cheap earbuds.
Don't you think, life is not easy without earbuds because music is always important whether you are happy or sad, Just try to listen crystal clear music and be relax.
1. SoundMAGIC ES18
2. Anker Soundbuds Sport
3. MEElectronics AF18
You guys are all behind the curve if want the latest buzz on earbuds.

I recommend the Symphonized NRG 3.0. They are very good!
Also proposed here: best budget earbuds
Even I liked Symphonized NRG 3.0 Premium Wood In-ear Noise-isolating Headphones. These are awesome earbuds in this price range. It's Ear adaptors in different sizes deliver excellent fit and comfort while providing ambient noise attenuation. You can see it's detailed review for earbuds for small ears here.

Best earbuds
I got 3 of these things for about $10 each and they surely beat anything under $30. They do have some bass. Very portable. I believe they are discontinued, so closeout prices.

Panasonic RPHJE120K or JVC Marshmallow. But you need Comply T-400 foam tips to get acceptable sound.

I've become a huge believer in the Comply T-400 foam tips. With any kind of earbud, proper seating in your ear canal is crucial. The Comply tips transformed my B&W C5s from disappointing to spectacular.

You're right about T-400, but I am sure your bright treble will loose a bit if using those tips.
Sorry, buts further to my two posts below, you really need to go to the Comply site to check which one is for your earphone stem size. They're also available in small, medium and large for different ear canal sizes.

Yes, the T-400 (or TX-400 with the ear wax guard) is excellent but note that it's for a specific size of IEM stem size. That's why Comply makes foam tips to fit different stem sizes --I think they were TX-100, TX-200, TX-300, TX-400 and TX-500. You need to look on a chart to see which ones are for your brand. For example, Shure is shown as TX-100.

Correction. Shure is TX-200.
I had a similar situation just last week, I wound up going to a bodega/smoke shop and paid $8 for generic headphones. I needed something for work, here they are on ebay for $2.
you figure you put them in fancy packaging and sell them at Staples or best buy for $20-$40, that's all you are getting are these $2 joints.
They do sound pretty good, medium bass.
Not up to par with my Grado RS2e's but hell does the job.
