I wonder how much of a difference the new technology makes? I guess it's too early for reviews?

The announcement is from yesterday. I don't think there are any reveiws, yet.
Grado says if you bought new Grado cans in the last 2-3 months, you probably have the "e" model even if the can/box doesn't say so. Red driver on right, blue on left, I believe, is the clue.

i found one ...
...it is an enticing overview!I would expect to hear only subtle improvements in the new e-series models, though (as with the 2nd generation "i" versions). The basic designs have not changed that much and, most likely, the well known "signature sound" of Grado's headphones will continue to be a major selling point.
