O yes! I am using a pair of 1969 SR-3'S with a SRM-T1s and completely freaked the early Beatles on Parlaphone are great! Enjoy
Follow Ups:
Never sell the SRM T1S!
STAX R&D still to this day, uses the T1S as a reference, as I read in a tour of the factory, as noted in a Head FI forum thread.
Try to find low noise RCA clear top tubes from the 60's.
They periodically show up on tubeworld.com.
Search Head Fi for T1S balance and offset adjustments.
The SRX MKIII sound very, very good even today. I just listened to mine from 1980 last week.
Save for the SR-009. I just got a pair today, from price japan.com.
I thought the Lambda Nova Signature was perfect, and as far as you could go.
The SR-009's are BEYOND BELIEF! That is a fact. Cost be dammed.
Thanx for that Potzrebie I could use all the info I can get , next will be a more modern set of phones.
