  I am talking about just the opposite type web sites - those guys are more about writing them a big fat check and they will hook you up with a system -
  I am taking about quirky - geeky - nerdy - Poindexter type guys who will hand wind their own transformer coils or bring back from the dead old but wonderful vintage gear ...... hell some guy makes his own vacuum tubes
