as opposed to eBay or Audiogon, which has much higher traffic, is the chance to deal with someone of known quality.
Clearly, a frequent and respected poster on AA is a far safer bet than some rando one does not know and may pull some PayPal stunt or claim the good were damaged and poorly packed or return (with proof of receipt) the goods with something that is NOT what you sent and ultimately were forced by PayPal to accept back.
If you don't believe the above, try selling tubes on eBay for a time.
You will learn ALL of the tricks.

exception that proves the rule? :-)
PayPal is a scourge. I got ripped off once on eBay. That was a few years ago, and the last time I accepted PayPal. I used to check the Asylum classifieds, but so few sellers will ship to Canada that it is a waste of time to shop there.
Hey, Donnie. That sinking feeling in your gut is called karma. You are a horrible individual, and you will pay for that for the rest of your miserable life. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
