The audiodharma Cable Cooker is woefully under-marketed, -understood, and -experienced. Which is too bad, because it has, for a long time, been high-end audio's MVP. If one has not used a Cable Cooker, (a) she is not at liberty to comment, and (b) why not? If she lives in any urban area, there has to be someone with a Cable Cooker. If not, do like everyone else, and ship her wares to someone who does have a Cooker. In fact, one audiophile read my posts, and observed that I had properly treated myriad XLO cables on a Cooker. So he arranged to send me his 20-year-old XLO Signature 1.1 and 2.1 interconnects (pictured above). No amount or length of regular playing time equals (or even comes close to) what the Cable Cooker does.
Though it's been through some upgrades, the unit above has been in pretty much constant use since we got it in 2003. Over those 14 years, it has treated over US$1,000,000 (retail) of cables. When it is not treating other audiophiles' cables, it is treating those of my neighbors, friends, and relatives. Hmmm, now if we can only fabricate an adapter, so that the Cooker can work on HDMI cables...
Glad to know that the Cable Cooker has become an Industry Sponsor.

great for cable and parts burn in. A major upgrade!
Depends on what you eat for dinner. Real audiophiles eat wire. :)

Lummy, it's time for an upgrade. :) I retired my version 2.0 Cooker after 16+ years of regular usage. Still worked just fine, but the new one is 'mo better and 'mo faster.
Like you, I consider it an indispensable piece of audio hardware.
Nice pic! Lummy.
