Classic Rock.
What a relief as my last daughter was into the music du jour, which was pretty much crap. Interestingly, that daughter also played the violin in a youth orchestra but, big but, was much more a social person and, so, listened to what all her friends were listening to.
Follow Ups:
I've got a 15 yr old boy-
Chance the rapper, lot of kanye west, some nasty,
Violent shit.
11 1/2 yr old girl- pop vocals- Taylor swift, Bruno
Mars, Adele.
Neither goes off mainstream which is total
opposite of my tastes.
Coincidence?
Had on velvet underground nico and janes addiction-
Nothing's shocking.
My son said they sounded like vomit and
Down's syndrome. In that order.
I wrote it down and made him sign it so later in
Life he could apologize.
Darned funny that you had him sign it. Mine is 12 but can be discriminating, though he usually opts for . . . what used to be called "space music." More like sounds than music.
THAT'S EXACTLY what young people listen to.
As for the crap you were playing to which your 15 yo objected - he'll never apologize for that - he may apologize for much else - especially to his father - his Father - when he's older ---
--- but, if he's honest - he won't apologize for that.
Oh - and it's not as tho you were playing Chopin and he called it vomit.
