dude did you not read that its fine with an iso tramsformer? hello!! anybody home?? arent you an engineer? your bias is clouding your mind on this simple electronics 101 level issue. getting ready to take a video to prove it. youll still probably come up with something wrong with that. of course you knowing me ten years and that im an extra class ham means nothing as you are placing personalities before principles.

dude did you not read that its fine with an iso tramsformer? From what I read (and what 3+4=5 read), you did not post anything about an isolation transformer in your first post. You posted that later.
So based on your first post (that 3+4=5 replied to), there was no proof that the interference was caused solely by dirtied AC lines.

Excellent and accurate points, Abe.
:)
Not points. Please be perfectionist level critical with me for omitting that because I do strive for that unattainable trait for humans......

you responed to the post which mentioned it! I didn't realize i was going to be put on trial here...GD! not to worry, yt video coming soon. Wait till you see the silly noise the USB charger for my smart phone makes. These power supplies are really ruining the AC. Thank God they didn't put the Internet over AC like they considered years ago. See Abe, I'm trying to be nice....I don't like when we fight....lets have make up posts....... : )

I don't disagree that switching noise is ruining our AC mains. Just pointing out that your first post was not "proof" as it lacked specific evidence to rule out other causes of your TV station dropout.
In any case, I too am glad that Broadband over Powerlines (BPL) died out here in the US.
Thanks we're good I want to be in mote harmony here. The video is harder to make to my stringent standards but will post when it is up. I made 5 and with my handicap I really need a helper and for my noise sniffing radio would rather have one with an S meter than just turning up the speaker.

ethernet over AC still exists.
I spent considerable effort isolating RF from power lines using dedicated circuits, aftermarket cords and power conditioners - not freely distribute it throughout the house!
...these devices can be very effective for general purpose use around the home where hard-wired Ethernet is unavailable and Wifi is weak. But I wouldn't use one in my home. I'd crawl on my hands and knees in the crawlspace or attic pulling CAT cable before I'd resort to a power line network adapter!
