Can anyone tell me how to hook up a cassette deck to record and add an equalizer on this receiver. Thanks, Larry

Here is the back of the item asked about.
I do nto see any way to really do a good job with the cassette
Maybe another member can.
All the HDMI and few audio input.
The fact there are two audio out.. But the use of listening and recording is impossible via the reciever since it has no tape out buffer, nor the switching for a tape loop.
If the cassette has a headphone out.. You could monitor the taping. Otherwise it is just blind. IE no instant record and listen, even if the cassette machine can do it.
Assuming that only the shaded connections are outputs, and you can only choose one output at a time, then it looks like there isn't any way to do it. This seems to be a very low on the totem pole model. If it had a "Zone 2" you might have been able to reassign it as a line level input and monitor that way, but that doesn't seem to be an option,It would probably be cheaper and easier to secure a middle of the road vintage receiver and do it that way. Vintage has this taping stuff in the bag.
And it needn't be expensive ancient stuff that's in need of a full recap. There should be something available on Craigsist or at the thrifts that will get that done. OR, just call Outlaw and order up an RR2150 for a 21st century solution with warranty.
