Thanks, but I can't go there unless I know what that site is all about.
Safety, time of night, ...
:)
Follow Ups:
research DNS servers, dynamic name servers, usually they are default to your ISPs DNS servers, that allows the ip addresses to translate into names such as amazon.com and google.com
alternate dns ignores ad servers and malware servers.
good luck, check out a research paper on what a DNS server is, you can even setup it by device should you want to not mess with your router :)
I am jealous of your gigabit.
"alternate dns ignores ad servers and malware servers."
Ah-ha! This is key.
Thank you.
:)
you'll be surprised how much crap you don't see. aol.com is basically blank with that.
also install ghostery and adblock plus plugins if you are using the chrome browser or firefox.
there's still some ads, malware and virii that get through from many sites.
I tend to be a contributer here almost every year, no ads is worth it just as paying $10 for no ads on youtube is great as well.
you are welcome, good luck with your expensive DAC chips, LOL! See I was right :)
take care
