The Analog RoomBrian has a photographic memory for music and artists and can tell you who played with who, where, and when.

Haven't been there in a long time. Was driving home from my usual TJ's Sunday run and saw a new sign, TAR. Took me the longest time to find out it was them. Haven't had the opportunity to go for a while.
New, nice, clean and larger.
First time I tried to find the old place I drove up and down the street several times. Finally found it. I asked about the lack of sign, etc. Brian said, "it keeps the Nimrods out". I'll try and get there soon. I've still got all the gear I bought from them, most sitting in the closet since I lost all my space when my girls came along. Except the speakers. I bought the small "cheap" Avalon Symbols from them, they still sound great in my corner of the living room. Everything else, Sonic Frontiers/SME 20/Koetsu Black all sit in the closet, waiting.
looks nice!

And I wish more shops could do, is having records for sale makes hanging around much more comfortable. I've been able to overhear and engage in some interesting conversation that I would have missed in equipment only stores.
We have picked up a few great records on fellow customer advice .
Easily said than done I'm sure.
I love that too. My past hi-fi experience includes Sound Images that also sold music as well as new and used gear AND serviced.
