Nice clip! G2
I see Clapton but where's the Cacti, Armadillos, and Sand?
Cringe worthy blues appropriation by well known English millionaire musician.
In what way does this improve on-or even differ very much-from the original by Robert Johnson?
A desert indeed!
"In what way does this improve on-or even differ very much-from the original by Robert Johnson?"
Does it have to - to be enjoyed?
Problem for me is that it very difficult to completely suspend my critical or historical sense when engaging with music or any other work of art. For me there is something rather silly about EC singing that "there must be spooks around my bed" while lifting riffs from Lonnie Johnson.
He did, unintentionally, inspire the "Rock Against Racism" movement
though. What a guy!
