"I know absolutely nothing about the machine, beyond seeing the photograph of it above."

For a guy who clearly cares about the use of language you are either intentionally obfuscatory, or your language talent falls short of expectations (yours and mine).IOP Shop offers a duplicator which may be identical to the one George Louis is selling. Of this you are aware. Both use the identical case and the identical Acard controller. The IOP Shop product utilizes very highly regarded Pioneer 110 (not 109 as on the IOP Shop website) DVD R/RW burners. George Louis has not said a word about how the product he is shipping (or drop shipping) differs from the better priced IOP Shop product. This is what your P-F readers remain ignorant of.
No wait, I've got it, Duck. It's all a plot perpetrated by Audience, maker of Auric Illuminator, your last quarry. George Louis's duplicator will end up smearing all of your CD's when you put them into his machine. He's deal he's struck with Richard Smith. That way, you're stuck with just the CDR's forever. Brilliant! No wait, that's Guiness. Damn, my mind is fuzzing. Oh well, there's a great reason to go out and buy the cheaper duplicator. Now you've got two reasons.

"Frazzling" would, from my viewpoint, have been more both a more accurate and, poetic, choice.Don't look now but you've got a raw nerve showing...
Be well,Rupe
P.S. I took it easy on you over the Auric Illuminator question. Your actions were slyly obfuscatory (or off the beam) in that situation also. I frankly do not care at this point if you have a problem with objectivity or obtuseness- either way, it is your problem.
Well it's hard trying to be entertaining when the object of your entertainment has no sense of humour. Lighten up, Duck. You are far too stuffy, earnest, and pretentious for this venue. It's just farkin' audio, ya know. As I said somewhere down below, you need a nobler cause to spend your energy on.

Well, you've told them now Rubberduck, so now they're the wiser, sort of. As you know, when I wrote my review, which is what I was quoting from, I knew nothing but had heard some rumors."IOP Shop offers a duplicator which may be identical to the one George Louis is selling."
That sounds like a warning on a medicine bottle or one spoken to us in hushed and hurried voice at the end of a hot pitch for new pills which will tighten up our bowels for us. "May" is the issue here. That's all anyone around here, including me, knows. May. I don't go to press with "mays," Duck. It may snow tomorrow in Massachusetts. I may be a fool. You may be a pain in the ass. Then again, you can plug "may not" into these sentences and obtain equal news value. The question is do YOU have a day job?

No longer. Now we all know what you know, Duck. You have done a great service to audio community. Problem is, this news has now been broadcast on this channel for quite a while, and nobody still knows what the facts are. But we sure as hell know what the rumors are, don't we. You go, Duck.
