I have an overseas buyer who bought a hi-end CD player from me. He paid for it by TravelersExpress MoneyGram wire transfer (like Western Union). There's only 1 MoneyGram agent store in my area and it's a shady liquor store. I gave the shopkeeper the trasnsaction # and my ID. He verified the info on his MoneyGram PC and wrote me a money order from his MoneyGram check book. He said I can cash it at his shop but there's a 1% fee. So I declined and cashed the money order at my bank. Is MoneyGram safe for seller like Western Union? Is it necessary for me to postpone the delivery by 10 days to make sure the money order is good? Thanks!
