  Pioneer DV-563A-S $179 at most discount stores (e.g., Best Buy)
  takes a LONG time to burn in; then it sounds good. Essayceedee section is a little too 'revealing' for some tastes

  Go to the Digital Forum. The Toshiba 3950/60 is all the rage there, with tweaks as well.
