Mix and match as you see fit. There is absolutly no TECHNICAL problem with any tube/transistor combination. An audiophile friend of mine has a solid pre and tube power. Works out just fine!!Enjoy!

Your friend needs to get out more. I use a SS pre and a tube amp, and the combination is magical. I liked the pre for its control features and phono stage, and saw no reason why I shouldn't use it with a tube amp.
