Without any real evidence beyond a posting on a BBS which the author then clearly contradicts on his own website, you have managed to convince yourself of the truth in this matter?I'm not so sure, I think that basically you have been caught out and simply don't have the guts to admit your error.
As for your vacuous argument here: it is the equvalent of accusing someone of murder with no proof and them challenging them to show they are innocent. YOU are the one making the claim, now it is up to YOU to prove it. IOW: put up or shut up.

I assume you're referring to me in your statement above. I don't know what contradiction is on my personal site, because I'm pretty picky about exactly what I say there (and what I don't say). As to BBS's, I'm more conversational and don't ponder what I say as much, certainly wouldn't be the first or last time I've put my hoof in my mouth. No, I cannot personally vouch for the photo's provenance, but I have no reason to doubt the source. Which still settles nothing. This whole thing was meant to be low-profile and just for hobbiests, as is my web page, and was never intended to have any commercial ramifications. Is there ever a mention of the Gaincard that doesn't turn into a heated discussion?
-everyone should go out and buy the Gaincard, because it's the Greatest Amp in History. Don't you agree?

I do however have the idea that you have failed to prove anything beyond your own ability to swallow heresay and regurgitate it here without engaging your brain for a micro-secoind to question the validity of your source.
-Joe.
EVERYONE should buy the Gaincard. It's A GREAT AMP! Do you think it's a GREAT AMP?
...when people like you quote the rules when they themselves are guilty of breaking the very same rule they quote, often on the same thread. So, Chris, perhaps you can explain for the benefit of the group here, why the following post isn't a flame:
http://www.audioasylum.com/audio/general/messages/172976.htmland doesn't paint you to be a screaming hypocrite, or gormless troll?
TIA,
