howbout someone pipe up after they compare the two products side by side. a lot of spewing and blowing could be saved.
if ML was so obvious in relabling, and we could get the same product for $600, then we should persue the $600 item and quietly reap the benefit.
if ML changed the amp and greatly improved it, is it worth the extra? may be......

Is it worth $600? Is it worth $200? Is it better than a clock radio? Anyway, if the market bites, applause to M.L., and I'm gone soldering my tube amp...
I see no point in bashing M.L. If he simply re-sell re-labelled amps, what's so criminal about it? Where's the line between legit outsorcing and marketing, is it just an extra zero? And if it was +2 zeroes, then what?
Don't underestimate some of the Chinese amps. For example, the Chinese made Spark 500 or 800 (also called Cayin 500, 800) are well regarded by some French audiophiles as reference amps (at least the 800 is). And reportly Jean Hiraga said that Cayin amp sounds even better than his own design.And these amps cost more or less depending on where you get them.

Whilst there is nothing criminal about Red Rose's apparent re-labelling of imported products (after all, many US manufacturers have done precisely that, over the years), contained within the web site are the following words:
--
"we build our own electronics, cables and speakers, matched to perfection"
--Implicit in that statement, is the fact that Red Rose Music manufacture all their own electronics.
NO mention is made of importing and re-badging equipment. IF Red Rose is re-badging imported equipment, but implying that it is manufactured in the USA, then that is dishonest.
I have sent a request to Red Rose Music, asking for clarification of this issue. I look foreward to a speedy reply.
